Edvin Bärtås So good! Complex atmospheres and enchanting use of voices and samples. Track 6-8 is such a deep, powerful journey through emotions. "Smoke dream" is mellow with carefully growing drums that moves the song like rain in a forest - ending with a big drone. "What I Think About At Night" starts pretty quiet but beautifully builds up into a massive wall of metallic distorsion. Mesmerizing. This album has really been a gem during late nights! Favorite track: A Black Lake On Each Side Of The Dream.

about

I made this album as a journal of sorts about one and a half years ago. There was a kind of metaphorical forest within me that i lost during that time, and it has made me very sad.
Wandering around in the forest where i lived at the time to get the field recordigs was good because i got to know the place at least a little bit better before i moved.
